Glen in the Alps
Hello Graham.
As you are aware I have done a 9 day Motorcycle trip in Europe 1-9 July (2017) and contacting you to pass onto all members in your next general e mail for my recommendation for the trip and the company being Adriaticmototours.
The company was easy to deal with and very well organised and everything went smoothly.
A total of 9 left on the tour including the guide all on BMW’s and I rode a R1200R but you can choose the bike you want and was made up of 2 x Australians, 2 x USA, 2 x Venezuela, 2 x Chile, 1 x Slovenia (Bruno the guide) and Primoz as back up in a van who carried our luggage to the next town and was in
The hotel room when we arrived. They brought a spare bike just in case.
The trip was called Top of the Alps and we did 1910 kms in 7 days of riding and covered the Alps of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, The trip was terrific, The scenery was spectacular
and the roads are fantastic and no potholes or dodgy road repairs and no gravel on the roads and the tyres really stick to the road surface.
The guide knew the roads and places to stop for coffee, lunch and petrol and all evening meals were proved either in the hotel or a restaurant nearby.
The worse road we went on was far far better than the best roads in Australia. The tour is only on a few times per year due to the limited Window of opportunity due to weather conditions. Adriaticmototours advertise in various bike magazines and I saw them at a sales office
when I went to the Albury/Wodonga AGM and got a brochure and spoke to the guy there about the trips they provide. I am not getting anything out of this endorsement but just want to pass on some info for a good ride and company. Website is www.adriaticmototours.com so check it out for all the trips and details. Please pass onto all members.
